| As a consequence of recent changes in tax legislation, operatives previously engaged as labour only "sub-contractors" are now employed directly and the present number of multi-disciplined trades averages thirty with head office support of seven office staff.
Our directly employed workforce allows us to deal effectively with minor works and general property maintenance and we feel that a measure of reassurance in respect of workmanship, control and security can be to the mutual benefit of ourselves and our clients.
We are continually involved with general contracting works of a varying nature although the majority of projects are in the private sector comprising refurbishment, alterations, extensions, period property repair / restoration and school projects, up to individual contract values in the region of £500, 000.
For many years we have been in the privileged position of receiving a high volume of enquiries for tender and negotiation from an established client base. However, we are keen to forge new relationships with both clients and professional disciplines within and beyond our usual areas of activity. |
